Is anyone succeeding in using XFtoWP in this way, please?
1) Passwords and email addresses do not synchronise to WordPress if changed in Xenforo. Therefore, using the “Disable Email and Password Edit” XF plugin to prevent and redirect users changing emails and passwords in Xenforo.
2) Users change their email addresses in WordPress. This is *sometimes* correctly synced to Xenforo – and sometimes not. Very hard to see what’s making the difference.
3) Users change their passwords in WordPress. This is *never* correctly synced to Xenforo.
Purchased XFtoWP 12 days ago – not had any response to any support request.
Was assured by the owner in a pre-purchase question in Xenforo forum that it would work well with MemberPress, so on the basis of that assurance bought MemberPress. It’s not working.
I don’t mean to be hard on the owner. But I now have hundreds of dollars of software purchases that are useless. As I wrote to him privately - “ I'm sure you're really busy - but I do need to know this is at least on your agenda.”
If anyone can shed any light on this problem it would be much appreciated.
