Custom Request: See more comments from XF thread on WP page

Hello sir, is it possible to see more comments from XenForo thread on WP page? On our Xenforo forum we have lot of comments we would like to display under articles on WP page, but today we can see only 1st XF page as the rule below. Is it possible to add this feature in next release or as custom paid work?


Replies per page

How many replies to show before showing the “load more comments” button. This is the amount of replies that will be reloaded per load. Note: as of version 1.0 only the first page of posts can be shown in thread comments.

Hi @def_rocks, good to hear from you!

The next priority after XFtoWP 1.5 is marked stable is to further refine the comments functionality, including showing more comment pages and pagination.

For your purposes, would you like to see the full thread of replies or have a way to feature a certain range of replies?

Thx for great news, in my case by default i would like to see full thread of replies. If there would be a way to limit them manually that would help too, sometimes i have like 300-400 comments under article.

In this feature's design plans, only the first page of replies will continue to be saved and when a reader clicks a page in the pagination, it will dynamically fetch the replies and inline refresh the comments area.

That way there doesn't have to be a limit on the pages you show in WP and you also won't suffer from database bloat.
