KolFolio Thesis Skin

by Alex Mangini

KolFolio is an easy to use portfolio skin for Thesis. KolFolio makes building a simple portfolio and blog easy, and is perfect for any freelancer or creative looking to neatly organize their work.

It was based off the very short-lived Kolakube version 3 design and has been made available to you, out of the kindness of my heart — for free.

Build A Portfolio With Ease

Building your portfolio on KolFolio is simple. A custom post type has been added to the WordPress admin panel, allowing you to add your latest portfolio piece in the same manner you’d add a new post or page into WordPress.

Combine that with shortcodes, and you can quickly build up your portfolio in only minutes.

KolFolio Custom Post Type

Custom Portfolio Template

Each portfolio page you create comes with a very simple template. It starts out as a blank page, but through the power of shortcodes — you can build a fully-featured image rotator, buttons and more.

Easy Admin Options

Customizing your portfolio layout is easy. From the simply-designed options panel, you can change the permalink structure of your portfolio and add a custom message within your portfolio gallery. This is useful if you want to build an optin form, post a special discount, or some other message.

Functionality Plugin

Look, I’ll be honest: you’re probably not going to stay on the KolFolio skin forever. Because KolFolio creates a custom post type, adds profilds fields and shortcodes for your content, when you deactivate it — you lose it all.

When you decide that your site has run its course with KolFolio, you can download the skin’s functionality plugin right from the skin admin options.

That way, you can simply upload the plugin to your site and your developer can build your new theme with your old custom post types, shortcodes and profile fields still available.

Support & Documentation

You will have full access to the Kolakube support forum, where you can get help and ask questions about the KolFolio skin. You will also have full access to the ever-growing Kolakube documentation, full of tutorials, how-tos and manuals for using KolFolio.

Hey I just saw this Alex! Nicely done!

I’m thinking of starting a personal blog/portfolio soon! This looks perfect for it :D

I have a question though, is this free to modify if I don’t remove the attribution?
