Hi there, I'm totally a newbie to thesis but just bought the md skin and I love it. One thing though... I want to use the light skin style on the homepage without a sidebar, just like in the demo. But I would like to have a sidebar with widgets on the blog page. How would I set this up?

Hey, Nicole. That can definitely be done. You'd want to...

1) Create a new page called "Home" and make sure it uses the "No Sidebars" template.

2) Create a new page called "Blog" and simply save it just like that.

3) Go to Dashboard => Settings => Reading and change the "Front Page Displays" option to "A Static Page"

4) Select "Home" for the Front Page option and select "Blog" for the Posts Page option.

5) Go back and edit the "Home" page as it is now your homepage. Also, remember to go to Dashboard => Appearance => Menus and add the "Blog" page to one of your menus.

(You can skip steps 3 and 4, until after you complete the design for your the "Home" page.)
