Can additional social media buttons be added to both Aroxis and MD2?
Will MD2 get the "responsive treatment" ?

MD2 will definitely get responsive treatment.

As far as adding social media icons, I'm not 100% where you're wanting to add them. But I can say that we can add them anywhere we want. So, I guess the answer would be yes. If you clarify where you're wanting them, though, I can give you a more detailed answer.

Sorry, I was not clear. It is not where but how many.I would definitely want to add Pinterest and RSS Feed, possibly more

You should join Alex's email list as he usually tells his readers about big events like that.
Yes, many different elements can be added to your blog just like any other Wordpress blog. No restrictions in that area (or any area, for that matter).
