Quick questions:

-- Is it easy change the background of the MD2 theme to just be white -- no pattern?

--How difficult do you think it would be to create something like I've highlight below in the screen shot -- the comment count bubble in the top right of the blog post preview?

--Does pretty much any wordpress widgets and plugins work with the theme, etc..?

Thanks in advance for your help with my questions, and I look forward to hearing back soon!

1. Not hard at all! A simple line of CSS could override all possible background patterns or we could override one pattern specifically.

2. I don't think it would be too hard at all to recreate that. It may take a little PHP but it's definitely possible.

3. We could never guarantee that all plugins/widgets will work with the skin. For the most part, they should most definitely work. However, there could always be some unforeseen conflict dealing with PHP, Javascript, styling, etc. The important part is that we ALWAYS look into the conflicts promptly to determine how they can be resolved. Most of the time, simple changes on our side handles everything.

Sean,

Thanks so much for the kind reply! I just purchased Thesis and got it installed tonight -- I'm going to go ahead and make my MD2 purchase tonight as well.

With regards to the comment count cloud that I mentioned above, would you be interested in working on that for me when the time comes? I would of course be willing to pay you for your time! I would want mine a shade of blue instead of green (we can sort out the details at that time). I just more or less was curious if you would be interested in assisting me in exchange for some $$ when it comes time for me to implement it on my blog!

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this!

Best regards,
-Alex :D

Glad to see you're going to make the purchase, Alex! I don't think there will be a need to exchange $$$ at all. I'll more than likely do the work with you as opposed to doing it for you. Though I've never done it before, I can't image it being very difficult at all.

When the time comes, just go ahead and start a thread and we can get going!
