I started using MD2 for an old site of mine - Affiliates World.

Clearly, I haven't done very much with the design yet but need to focus on adding new content as this had been converted from an older site.

I've used Gravity forms for the contact page and AWeber sign up on the newsletter page. I have a minor issue with the testimonial on the home page, i.e. the surname of the person is too long.

I've also used Chronicl for my personal site - Adrian - and MD2 has been used for two affiliate stores that are currently work in progress (Shoe Market and Free Mobile). Not sure if MD2 was the right choice of skin for these type of sites but used it as I like it so much!

Like your sites Adrian! Glad you use Kolakube skins to power your sites. :D

For your Adrian Bold site (on Chronicl), I have a few suggestions:

Quote

#header_area #header #tagline {
margin: 0 0 0 30px;
}

.custom #header {
padding: 40px 5em;
}

2. For that feature box, you should throw an email form or something in there! Or if you don't use the feature box, you should disable it to save space.

In addition to what Alex has suggested for the Chronicl install, I would also suggest being easy on the site width! Chronicl is already super wide (Sorry, boss! :P) and it looks like yours has another 20-30 horizontal pixels. While every site I visit fits into my browser, yours was the first to give me a horizontal scroll... and it was no more than 10 pixels or so.

For the two affiliate sites, I think MD2 was a great choice! They seem to fit the purpose well. The only thing I would add is maybe a page lead to highlight special products? I think taking advantage of the page leads would really make things come together even more.

Also, for your Affiliates World site, try this CSS in your custom.css file to help with the surname issue for that particular testimonial in your sidebar.

.custom #quotes-widget-2 .quote_box .said_box {
	width: 58%;
	float: right;
}

And it looks like your DISQUS comment form needs a little CSS too as it is hugging the edges of your content area. Log into your DISQUS account. Go to "Admin" (top right) => Settings (right beneath Admin) => The account for Affiliates World => "Appearance" tab => Scroll all the way to the bottom and put the following code into the custom CSS field:

/* Disqus Container */
#disqus_thread {
	padding: 20px;
}

Wow! Thanks Alex and Sean. Some great advice and tips - all implemented except the page lead idea. These two sites are very much work-in-progress and I'll certainly add once I've got the data organised correctly.

Cheers again, guys. I really appreciate it! :D
