File Thesis-All-Options-123456789.dat

ldavid's Photo ldavid 02 Apr 2012

I download the free kolfolio theme. I followed the installation guide, but when I looked at the file file thesis-all-options-123456789.dat to upload it in all options, I found the file thesis-all-options-20120220.dat which is a file that looks like a mp3 or mp4 file to open it with windows media player.

Should I unzip the file kolakube_func.zip in the functions folder before I upload the Custom Folder to replace it for custom sample in thesis?

I couldn't go further than this step

Hello, ldavid. I'm not 100% sure that I understand the issue you've ran into. But in the Kolfolio folder, already unzipped, you'll need to upload the contents of the "custom" folder to the same place in your directory. Once complete, you'll upload the "thesis-all-options-20120220.dat" file into "All Options." Regardless of what icon is showing for the file (based on my iMac setup, it looks like a VLC player movie file), it's the file extension that matters. If you have the aforementioned file, go ahead and upload it to all options.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Sean
Yes I have the icon file that looks like a mp4 pr mp3 file. I uploaded to the custom sample in thesis using filezilla. I uploaded the "thesis-all-options-20120220.dat" file to "All Options" But I can't see the kolfolio

Okay shoot me a link to the site so I can see where we stand and we'll go from there.

Okay I logged in and checked everything out that I could see. I have to ask, did you actually upload the files in the custom folder? I see that you have uploaded the DAT file but did you complete the main part of the installation? http://kolakube.com/...-kolakube-skin/

Let me know. If you are 100% sure that you've followed the detailed instructions step by step and it still doesn't work, I'll need you to take a screenshot of the files in your custom folder so I can have a look. Or we could Skype and you could share your screen to show me.

Hi Sean

I entered the gallery teasers image and teasers description in the portfolio field where you told me to enter the details. But I got 404 error. Please check it out.
Thanks
You 404’d it. Gnarly, dude.

You got a 404 Error where? When? Inputting that information and saving the portfolio item won't cause a 404 Error. So when did the error come up?

It doesn't have the 404 error anymore. But the image and description are not in the porfolio.

I entered the gallery teasers image and teasers description in the portfolio field where you told me to enter the details

Thanks

I'm sorry. Is it still broken? If so, shoot me a link. Shouldn't be tough to fix. If it's working properly now, good deal! :)

Ah... it's because you haven't created a portfolio page yet. You have to do that first as per the instructions.

Follow those instructions word for word and let me know how it turns out.

Also, on that "Portfolio" entry in your portfolios, you spelled portfolio wrong in the permalink!
