Hello Kolakube members,

It's been a pleasure to see many members coming out with new and beautiful websites using Alex's skins.
I must thank both Alex and Sean for the great support that has rendered to me from the date I purchased.
And also the support from fellow members of the community.

A company will continue to grow if the clients are growing too - is a win-win situation after all :)
I have purchased skins from StudioPress, Woothemes and Themeforest for the last two years, but nothing
beats Kolakube. So I am glad to stumbled upon this company and I never look back since.

After a few weeks of brainstorming with the support group and also my designer, I have finally came out
the first draft of my newly re-designed website http://yourown360.com/

I am sure there will be a lot of areas of improvement and I certainly treasure your feedback to make it better.
And don't worry about the words used, the more impact it is, the better... cause we learn together :)

Thanks and I shall look forward to review your website too. It's all about giving and sharing.

Cheers,

Wow, it's really coming together since I last saw it! Here's some advice/tips to get you started:

1) You nav doesn't look aligned, so throw this into your custom.css file to make it look better:

.custom #header .menu { padding-top: 15px }

---

2) In that feature box, I'd make that arrow image a lot smaller. It really scrunches the optin form, and makes it less noticeable.

---

3) At the end of your posts, you should have an optin form. After the reader reads your post, they will be more inclined to take action and signup to your email.

---

Honestly, everything else seems pretty good! Hope someone can give you even more feedback.

Thanks Alex for your suggestions for improvements on my website.
Yes, it is a bit of misalignment. I was trying to fix it but unable to.
I will use your method to try it again.

You are right, the feature box is a bit too big and overshadow the opt in box.
What size do you recommend? And also is there a way to change the color of my feature box from grey to something blue, just like the blue in my logo? Think it will make the website more vibrant instead of dull color.

And yes, forgot about the opt in forms. How do I add them on the posts?

Thanks for your advice again. Hopefully will receive more suggestions from the other members :)

Cheers,
Ngee Key

There's no set size I have for the image. I'd just resize it enough so that optin form has some breathing room. Maybe use the image I attached to this post even.

This will change the color to blue, and you can adjust the color to anything:

.custom .feature_dark { background-color: lightblue }

(paste into CSS)

You can add optin forms by going to Thesis - Marketers Delight - Posts - Show after post and place your code there.
