This year, I significantly changed the marketing focus of my business. I've been struggling with the design of my new site for six months and never really got it looking the way a consultant's site should. Being that I'm not a website designer and never wanted to be, the trip through using css and php to layout my wordpress site was an overwhelming challenge. Not only am I not a graphic designer, but the matter of having to layout the location and and functionality of the website through programming was a real frustration.
To make a long story short, I came across the MD2 theme and really like it a lot. I was able to use the theme and make the site look and feel nice (in my opinion) with very little customization. Once I bought this theme, I was able to put my new site together in about a week! Furthermore, all of the questions I've had regarding the use of MD were promptly and correctly answered through my posts on the forum.
I would really like to get some feedback from others regarding my new website, be that for content, layout or whatever.
The website is here:

I think it looks great, Mike! Glad we were able to help you get it how you wanted it to look. I think the outcome was awesome.
A few things, though:
A few things, though:
- Have you considered updating to MD2.2.6? it's a simple upgrade, and it will help your site load a little faster, plus will add a highly improved responsive grid to your site.
- How come you added that negative margin to the top of your headline? It makes the feature box look cluttered up in my opinion, and I think giving the text some space will make it look better.
- You should make your about page a landing page, and place 3 optin forms within the content. Kind of base it off this: http://kolakube.com/about/

That is great advice! I'll definitely upgrade and unclutter the text as you suggest. I'm trying to wrap my head around how to integrate my about page with the home page and have to give that some thought. I really do like the idea, though.
I assume that MD2.2.6 is something new. Is there a way to keep up with updates without frequenting the forums? Even there I didn't see it announced. I do want to keep my website up-to-date and your theme is a big part of that.
Thanks!
