Hi Margaret,

for someone without any experience, I think you're off to a really good start

Personally, I would:
  • add a "home" button
  • change your posts to only display the excerpts not the entire article - this way people can scroll through through and easily see all the titles

If you're looking specifically for feedback, you should post in the Showcase section, where people give reviews of recent designs http://kolakube.com/...um/22-showcase/

I like it, I think your feature box could be a lot more concise though.

Right now you have quite a bit of text, and the truth is - a lot of it is a bit of 'fluff' in my opinion. I think you can get your message across the same way with a lot less.

I hacked around in Firebug and got this:

It's better because:
  • It CLEARLY highlights the MAIN focus of your website
  • It's a lot more readable, asit is scannable
  • SEO wise, there are less <h3> headings. You should only use one <h3> tag in this area
You can even go and add a powerful image and then align it to the right with the class="alignright" attribute, to give it a little more flare.

If you want to make your feature box like what I put in the screenshot, you can use the code I attached to this post to try it out yourself. :)

Just my 2 cents. Other than that, it looks great!

I would love to put a image in the feature box to better capture attention.
